100th Anniversary Committees
Girl Program Committee
The 100th Anniversary Girl Program Committee will work with service units to plan and implement initiatives for girl members. They will promote both council and national activities to volunteers, girls and their families; coordinate participation in anniversary activities, and communicate those activities to the council. Activities will include Girl Scouts Forever Green environment activities; community service activities; service unit birthday celebrations; and statewide and national initiatives, including travel opportunities. |
Public Relations (PR) Committee
The 100th Anniversary PR Committee will work with members of the community and media to create awareness of the Girl Scouts and promote 100th Anniversary events and festivities. The committee will enact a PR plan to create awareness of the Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary. They will promote the 100th activities of girl members and the council via media relations, advertising, video, events, publications, online media, and more; as well as supporting 100th Anniversary government, statewide and national initiatives. |
Alumnae Committee
The 100th Anniversary Alumnae Committee will execute and plan alumnae initiatives and other council activities, including regional alumnae receptions, alumnae recruitment, story corps, events and programs for both alumnae and girl members. |
