Trefoil 1 is a group of adults whose mission is to support the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland in a variety of ways. We assist where needed and since 1987 have supplied the Girl Scout Gold Award pins for those completing requirements. This being our main reason for fundraising, we also have supported the camps with the purchase of canoes, flag poles, the windmill at Becky’s Pond at Camp Ken-Jockety, a pool sweeper for Camp Molly Lauman, and a sound system for the Elam Center, to name a few.
We meet twice a year for socializing and keeping up with current Girl Scout trends: pay annual dues of $10 each fall; and participate in only one fundraising activity, our annual ‘non-event,’ the Thinking Day Tea. These funds are used to supply the Gold Award pins. In spring 2011 we purchased 43 pins.
All interested adults are invited to participate in the fall meeting, Trefoil 1 membership, and/or the Thinking Day Tea.
Please call for further information. We hope you’ll join us!
