What does "camping" mean to you? Sleeping in a tent? Meeting new friends? Hiking? Cooking over a campfire? Come join us and see how much fun it is!
Outdoor activities and environmental awareness are important components of the Girl Scout mission. Spending time in the outdoors refreshes you, brings a feeling of balance to your life, and engages all of your senses as you learn new skills.
As you explore the natural world you will develop a deep appreciation for the environment. In addition to recreation, our outdoor programs focus on teambuilding, outdoor skill development, problem solving, and artistic inquiry. They’ll help you build self-confidence that will last a lifetime.
Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland manages six outdoor program properties across Ohio. So—plan a weekend camping trip with your troop, participate in an exciting outdoor program or event, learn to ride a horse, or venture to Day Camp or Resident Camp during summer break—the opportunities are endless!
