The Crooked Lane Learning Center is located on
approximately 223 acres of forested land in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, just a
short drive from Columbus, Newark and Mansfield. The pond provides opportunities for fishing and canoeing, and labeled hiking trails will help you find your way through the woods and fields. Facilities include Wawinges Lodge, a platform tent unit with a shelter house, two pavilions and an amphitheater. Crooked Lane also features a low-ropes Challenge Course and a Sprayground, which is open for use by camping troops and program participants between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Crooked Lane has opportunities for activities that give girls a new interest
in and admiration for the outdoor world. Creeking, pond studies, hiking and canoeing are just a few of the opportunities that girls have at Crooked Lane. Please see the latest issue of myGSOH for information about upcoming programs.
Crooked Lane is the only Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland camp
facility that has a Sprayground. The Sprayground is open Memorial Day
