Historic Girl Scout Uniform & Memorabilia Exhibit

Not to be missed! This exhibit of historic Girl Scout uniforms, pins, patches and badges, antique merchandise and more at The Ohio State University Historic Costume and Textiles museum space will charm and fascinate. This public exhibit will run from March 10 through June 1, 2012, and will include an opening reception, a program for girls related to fashion design and merchandising, a self-guided exhibit of dozens of uniforms, and many of the gems from our council’s archive committee collection.

The museum is located at Campbell Hall on Neil Avenue in Columbus. Hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday noon-4 p.m.

Celebrate 100 years of Girl Scout Uniforms and Memorabilia! Join us for the Historic Girl Scout Uniform and Memorabilia Exhibit at the OSU Historic Costume and Textiles Collection museum. Visit the museum and attend workshops focused on fashion careers, body image, and Girl Scout uniforms past, present, and future! Workshops will be guided by Ohio State University staff and students. 

Two dates: Sat., Mar. 10, 2012 (grades 4-12) or Sat., May 19, 2012 (grades 2-3) These link to CORA our Council Online Registration Access system.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to noon
Cost: $5 per girl
Deadline: Fri., Feb. 24, 2012
