Dear Girl Scout:
Please help us better understand your wishes for future programming and facilities by taking part in our property survey that is currently online at www.gsooh.org/Viewpoint-2011.

Girls and adults alike—WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!! Your feedback will help us plan for future outdoor programming and property visions for Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland. The survey runs from August 22 - September 9, 2011.

The Viewpoint page also lists our upcoming Town Hall meetings. Town Hall meetings will be held in four areas (Chillicothe, Columbus, Mansfield, and Zanesville) and offer yet another way for GSOH members to share their viewpoint.

Results from the survey and Town Hall meetings will be shared at the upcoming delegate forums in October, at other council sponsored events, and in publications. Please forward this e-newsletter with the survey link to any Girl Scouts you know. We WANT to hear their ViewPoint!

Thanks for your help in spreading the word!

Halloween Haunt (Grades K-3)
Explore the spooky sights and sounds of autumn at Halloween Haunt (Event #1300) at Camp Ken-Jockety! Games, midnight field maze, fear factor challenges, crafts, dancing, snacks, the haunted Cook's Kitchen, Infestation Station and a luminary-lit trail are just a few of the features! The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m.

We need lots of spooky spirited volunteers for Halloween Haunt! Volunteers need to dress (warmly) in their favorite costumes to work at various stations with Girl Scout Brownies. Pizza will be provided for all volunteers at 8 p.m. at the post-program volunteer-only appreciation party. For more details, visit www.gsooh.org/programs/events/--council/
