Girl Scout Daisy By Mail (Pre-K)

Girl Scout Daisy By Mail is a summer program for girls who will start Kindergarten in the fall.  You will receive 3 packets in the mail to work on with your parents that will prepare you to become a Girl Scout Daisy.

Girl Scout Daisy (Grades K-1)

Being a Girl Scout Daisy is a great way for girls who are just starting school to make friends! You can go on short trips, learn about nature and science, and explore the arts and your community.

As a Girl Scout Daisy, you can:

  • Learn the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
  • Earn Journey awards, petals, and participation patches.
  • Explore arts and crafts
  • Earn the My Promise, My Faith award and other religious recognitions that help you strengthen the connection between your faith and Girl Scouts.
  • Participate in activities either with your troop or individually, including the cookie program and fall product program.
  • Attend summer day camp
  • Camp or hike with your family
  • Learn about nature and science

Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden

In this Journey, a favorite pastime - gardening - meets the Girl Scout Law. The result is a storybook world of flowers and little girls who, together, do great things. You'll earn three Girl Scout leadership awards as you enjoy the Journey: the Watering Can, Golden Honey Bee, and Amazing Daisy awards. Try two activities and peek at the Journey!

Between Earth and Sky

In this Journey, you'll join the flower friends for an exciting road trip in a flower-powered car. As you travel the country living the values of the Girl Scout Law, you and the flower friends enjoy what's local and learn why that's important. You'll also learn how your special skills make the world a better place. You'll earn three Girl Scout leadership awards as you enjoy the Journey: the Blue Bucket, Firefly, and Clover awards. Try two activities and peek at the Journey!

5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals

All along this Journey, you can explore a variety of arts, including performing, visual, culinary, and new media, to tell your stories and take action to make the world a better place. You'll learn just how much you can care for animals and for yourself - and just how good that makes you feel! You'll earn three Girl Scout leadership awards as you enjoy the Journey: the Birdbath, Red Robin, and Tula awards. Try two activities and peek at the Journey!

 

The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting

Everyone knows that Girl Scouts earn badges. Girl Scout Daisies earn special petals and leaves - check out the Badge Explorer for a peek! The guide contains:

  • A colorful, easy-to-use binder specifically designed for Girl Scout Daisies. The binder comes chock full of information, activities, and colorful stickers.
  • Petal, Financial Literacy, and Cookie Business leaf activities.
  • A detailed diagram showing you where to place awards, petals, and leaves on your tunic or vest.
  • Ideas to help you tie your petal and leaf activities to Journeys.
  • Vintage illustrations and quotes from Girl Scout history to help you feel connected to the proud traditions of the past.
