Girl Scouting is fun! But it's much more than that. It's also an opportunity for girls in grades K-12 to develop important life skills, discover themselves, and make a difference in the world around them. Through engaging programs and activities, we help today's girls become tomorrow's women leaders!
Most girls join for fun and friendship, but they also find out about building character and self-esteem and serving their communities—the core qualities of Girl Scouting. In Girl Scouts, girls find a safe place to grow and share new experiences, learn to relate to others, develop values, and contribute to society.
You may participate in Girl Scout troops which meet on a regular basis after school, evenings, or weekends. You may also choose to participate in the Girl Scout program by meeting on a short-term basis with other girls with similar interests or by attending camps and special events. You may even participate as an individual, without being affiliated with a troop or group!
The Girl Scout program is based on the needs and interests of girls. All members:

Girl Scouts serve girls of every race, faith, economic status, and physical ability. Through safe, girl-centric activities, you will find courage to explore new experiences, confidence to test your abilities, and character to stand by your values.

To become a member of Girl Scouts return to the home page and click the CORA icon to register for either the membership year 2013 or 2014 (credit or debit card is required for payment). Or complete the Girl Membership form and return it with payment to: Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland Council, 1700 WaterMark Drive, Columbus, Ohio 42315.

2013 Membership fee is $12.00 - October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013.
2014 Memberhsip fee is $15.00 - October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014.
