We at Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland pride ourselves on providing our girls and volunteers Fall and Cookie Product Programs that fulfill the financial needs of the troops, provide girl programming to learn the five essential life skills, and incorporate badge earning opportunities to keep it interesting and fun!
Teach Life Skills
Through the Girl Scout Product Programs girls develop five essential skills:Goal setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills, and Business Ethics
Financial Literacy and Cookie Business Badges
Each level of Girl Scouts from Daisies up to Ambassadors can learn about business and personal finances while participating in each of the Product Programs. Daisies earn “Leaves” while all other Girl Scouts earn badges. Girls can earn The Cookie Activity Pin each year she participates in the annual Cookie Product Program.
Cookie Product Program
All registered Girl Scouts can participate in the annual Cookie Product Program. The 2012 Cookie Product Program began January 14! Here are some important dates to remember:
February 27- March 3 Cookie Delivery Week (Troops pick up cookies)
February 27- March 25 Girls deliver cookies and take additional orders
