The American Red Cross Health & Safety services has undergone a centralization of their processes and procedures to better service their clients in a streamlined fashion. During this transaction, the American Red Cross Health & Safety services web-based courses are temporarily disabled in order to begin loading the newest scientific curriculum into the online learning. The release of their new web-based courses will be available shortly after the new year.
At this time Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland has suspended all blended learning courses until the American Red Cross online program is available again.
If you are currently registered for a class including the blended learning option from American Red Cross, you will individually be contacted regarding your options.
We're searching for energetic individuals with a zest for sharing their skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm with Girl Scout volunteers. Must enjoy working wtih people of diverse cultures and lifestyles. Training provided. Our next Facilitator Fundamentals is February 18th! He's back !! That wonderful, magical creature who lives at camp. Once again Tajar books, dolls, puppets, and pin supplies are available in the Resource Store. Both books, the original Jane Shaw Ward "Tajar Tales" and the follow up book by Richard Brown "A Perfect Day for Tajar" are once again on sale. For a limited time, you can even purchase the Richard Brown book autographed by the author. And patches are on their way !!! Also both books are once again available for check out in the council library. A "refundable" deposit is required to check out the books. Discover the joy and magic of this magical creature all over again or if your girls have never heard of the Tajar, take them on the magical journey with Tajar, the Witch and the Range Ranger.
